As a Learning Technologist within the Digital Learning Delivery team of the Client Experience business unit, you will undertake a broad range of responsibilities. These include weekly publishing tasks, participation in strategic improvements, and tech-centered development projects that drive our strategy to increase participation in our learning programs in a measurable, effective way.

This role within the broader Client Training group supports learning technology platforms, including client learning, performance technology, reporting and analytics, and data integration. We own the vision of client-facing learning technology within Client Experience.

In particular, this role focuses on

  • Web programming and development in the learning platform space
  • Maintaining learning content and curricula through a weekly publishing and QA process The expertise we're looking for
    • BA/BS with minimum 5 years learning technology or proven experience
    • A curious, proactive approach that questions the status quo in a professional manner
    • A solid understanding of learning technologies, including LMS, xAPI, LRS, SCORM/AICC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and reporting and analytics
    • Thorough, independent execution paired with a consultative nature
    • Financial services industry experience preferred
    • Experience with REST APIs and data integration desired The Purpose of Your Role

      The Learning Technologist handles day-to-day management of the Learning Hub LMS, including publishing, design, programming and support. The role also supports and/or consults on subsystems (e.g., WebEx, Zoom, etc.) and other delivery platforms (Tridion CMS, online help). As a client-facing organization, the role requires gaining knowledge of Fidelity Clearing and Custody platforms (e.g., Wealthscape, eMoney) and the various distribution methods for those platforms.

      As both a product management and client service organization, you will also be required to lead and/or participate in consultative, client-facing meetings.

      The Skills and Experience You Bring
      • Demonstrate energy and curiosity about how technology addresses business problems
      • Client facing communication experience via email, chat or zoom
      • Collaborate with instructional designers and facilitators to establish system policies and procedures
      • Build support materials on system technology and processes
      • Discover, plan and implement new LMS features and functions
      • Monitor and raise LMS issues that are received through the team mailbox
      • Work with technology and product support to improve support workflow and limit tech support issues through education of our support partners
      • Troubleshoot raised issues and submit tickets to vendor as needed
      • Keep up to date with advances in LMS and online learning related learning technologies
      • Provide advice on strategic plans for system use and expansion
      • Show excellent verbal and written communication skills with business and learning team members The value you deliver
        • Developing and implementing program requirements for large client onboarding events
        • Conducting case analyses and readiness assessments for onboarding clients
        • Developing product adoption, audience segmentation, and program development strategies with colleagues and business partners
        • Engaging technology vendors/internal resources to deliver cost efficient solutions to business requirements
        • Enabling senior management decision making on issues such as budget, risk associated with developing and maintaining solutions, and earning return on investment
        • Develop and evangelize learning delivery strategies that conform to overall team learning strategy
