Job Description:
Job Summary: The Butler Hospital Memory & Aging Program is
looking for a full time research coordinator to work on several
studies of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The primary
study being coordinated is an observational longitudinal study of
CADASIL: Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical
Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy. CADASIL is a rare, inherited type
of vascular disease that can cause dementia.
Responsibilities include coordinating study visits, administration
of neuropsychological tests, gathering medical history and
treatment information, data entry and management, working closely
with study sponsors and contract research organizations, and
ensuring studies are run in accordance with protocols.
Requirements: BS/BA in related field or comparable experience.
Previous experience coordinating research trials and administration
of study assessments preferred. Previous experience working with
CADASIL patients and families or genetically inherited diseases is
a strong plus, but not required. Excellent organizational and
communication skills required. Must be comfortable working with
adults and communicating via telephone.
