About the Role:
A.T. Cross, the PE-backed global writing instrument company, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to optimize its global supply chain process. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of materials flow and to maintain control and accuracy over all goods inventories, including all transactions, procurement, planning, scheduling, cost, warehouse, receiving, and shipping to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. From demand planning to sourcing and inventory management, the ideal candidate will take an owner's approach to Supply Chain optimization. Strong candidates will have a history of success in designing supply chain processes preferably in a consumer product environment, delivering tangible results, and turning ideas into reality with smart and effective solutions. They are excited by an opportunity to "roll up their sleeves" on a variety of initiatives and will leap at the chance to guide business strategy through the collection and synthesis of complex data. They operate thoughtfully, independently, and decisively in fast-moving situations.

The ideal candidate is a team player with attention to detail/accuracy, and strong analytical skills. The personal skills needed to be successful in this role include being a self-starter, being able to manage multiple work streams concurrently, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to easily adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment, and having good interpersonal skills to work well with a diverse team.

Develop, implement, and manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning process that incorporates capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, material and associated cost elements
Perform analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to develop and execute MTO and MTS plans
Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for sourcing and production planning to support customer demand; lead the daily and weekly planning review calls with global operations and supply chain leaders to optimize speed, cost and quality
Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control
Develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth and sourcing requirements
Identify, develop, and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Establish, implement, and manage system to evaluate, monitor and report supplier scorecard performance.
Continuously improve key end-to-end planning performance indicators such as customer on-time delivery
Communicate strategic and tactical decisions and fulfillment network performance updates to a wide variety of stakeholders, including executive-level sponsors
Assure conformance to US Customs regulations and support opportunities to reclaim duties, etc.
Competencies, Experience and Education:
5+ years of program management experience in the supply chain and/or logistics domain
3+ years of demand planning and/or Integrated Business planning
Experience in a consumer product and/or e-commerce environment is a plus
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Advanced analytical skills and business judgment
Basic technical skills with proficiency in use of SQL
Ability to analyze large data sets to develop insights for the executive team
Proficient at Microsoft Excel with the ability to apply vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs and other key formulas to analyze data and solve problems
Strong leadership presence with ability to think critically and conceptualize future framework
Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and data-driven organization
Position may require (limited) travel
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, or a related field
Master's degree (including MBA) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, or a related field
Expert level skill with industry-standard analytical and tools, including SQL and Tableau
