Job Description:The RoleAs a Data Analyst focused on breaking down the data needs for reporting and analytics, you will use your business acumen and strong data analysis skills to help Fidelity Institutional's Data Foundation organization successfully execute on key initiatives. Your primary focus will be on analysis related to the creation of a cloud-based Analytics Data Platform, and you will need to ensure synergies between this platform and other on-going data related initiatives, such as a Master Data Management implementation and the creation of Data Stewardship practices.The Expertise and Skills You BringAt least 3 years of prior work experience, preferably in data-centric role(s) focused on analysis and deliveryExpert level analysis skills in the form of research, gap analysis, data mining, and data profiling.Expert level SQL experienceAbility to break down and detail the flow of data from origination to consumption.Experience prioritizing work based on business needsExperience with development in an Agile framework preferred. Agile mindset required.Financial services experience preferredJira and Jira Align experience preferredWorking knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud data providers preferredA general understanding of Master Data Management and its business value preferredA general understanding of Data Stewardship preferredTableau experience preferredA data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into action, and prioritizing value deliveredAbility to establish and manage relationships as you work across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes. You will work with a variety of business and technology stakeholders to understand their Reporting and Analytics data needs.
