Job SummaryThis position is responsible for implementing North
American Customer Insights and Internal Sales Reporting activities.
You will oversee a reporting group in Coimbatore, India. This
position requires you to be proficient with Business Intelligence
applications. You will design Business Intelligence application
layouts and provide training of BI applications to management. You
will collaborate with internal customers throughout the company.In
this position you will be expected to gain an in-depth knowledge of
Avantor business processes and reporting systems, and will
implement metrics, policies, and processes to support the
multifunctional commercial organization.Internal Insights: the
position is responsible for providing meaningful, efficient, and
accurate information to all commercial internal functions.Executes
process improvements for North American reporting. Collaborates
with functional and commercial business teams to implement
reporting tools and processes that increase productivity, improve
customer experience, and improve Avantor business results.MAJOR JOB
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFunctional Responsibilities
- Ensures reporting processes are accurate, complete, timely and
in alignment with Avantor financial results, customer requirements,
and/or Avantor internal control policies.
- Develops strong relationships with internal customers to ensure
successful roll-out of new tools and analytics.
- Responsible for designing layouts in reporting applications
(QlikView, Power BI). Ensures reporting processes are accurate,
complete, and coordinated.
- Drives for continuous improvement of all workflow and processes
to maximize.
- Develop quality controls and reconciliation process for
reporting tools.
- Facilitates, expedites, and resolves reporting issue/questions
raised by business.
- Design reports to enhance the user experience and increase
efficiency.
- Develop training aids and tools for reporting systems
- Execute training to ensure users can navigate and utilize tools
efficiently.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Scope
- Internal Reporting: collaborate with all commercial internal
functions to ensure that reporting tools meet all business needs in
terms of data accuracy, frequency, presentation, and ease of
use.QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, finance, or closely
related field from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years experience
- Knowledge of SAP and Qlikview/Power BI reporting tools
requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel, and reporting
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Qlikview,
Power BI, Tableau, etc. required
- Project management skills a plus
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and
organizational skills and the ability to work in team
environments
- Computer Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and
Access)
- Strong workflow and process development skills
- Ability to work across all business functions, business owners
and customers to ensure efficient operations and timely
reporting
- Independent, self-starter, highly motivated
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize and complete
high volume workloads with a take-charge attitudeENVIRONMENTAL
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting
and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise
level.
- Work assignments are diversified and vary over time. Examples
of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New
alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
- A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on
routine basis.
- Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary
but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or
carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10
