Looking for a strong Project Manager to join a well established GC with top notch company culture to lead projects in the public sector up to $65M. This candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They collaborate with subcontractors, communicate with project teams, and uphold quality standards to achieve successful project outcomes.Client DetailsOur client is a prestigious, family-owned construction firm with a century-long legacy, recognized as a top 400 ENR company. With a dedicated team of around 100 professionals in a collaborative environment, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a stable, growth-oriented company that values long-term commitment and excellence.DescriptionMain duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Establish the project control plan. Control the rate of production and quality on all projects, their associated cost and expected receipts.
  • Establish base line and monitor construction schedules. Insure construction schedules are adhered and deadlines met.
  • Secure building permits, licenses and occupancy certificates.
  • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure building the project on schedule and within budget. Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client and Architect. Review job cost reports and maintain accurate and timely indicated cost reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings with Owner's representatives, Architects/Engineers for obtaining approvals to jointly discuss procedures, progress, problems and scheduling.
  • Assist in preparation of bid day information.
  • Author and issue meeting minutes promptly.
  • Schedule and assist in progress meetings with Trade Contractors and Construction Superintendents.
  • Secure scheduling for equipment, material, shop drawing submittals and deliveries.
  • Assume additional responsibilities or special projects as neededAPPLY WITHIN 24 HOURS FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATIONProfileIn return for a generous compensation package, the successful candidates will possess the following:
    • 8+ years of experience building large public projects
    • Experience managing projects from start to finish
    • Excellent communication & time-management skills
    • Familiarity with Procore and other softwares
    • The ability to lead a team effectively and efficientlyJob OfferThe right candidate will receive
