best if yet to come.We are seeking to add a Sr Director, Sales &
Operations Planning & Execution to play an integral role in our
Global Planning Organization! This role will develop and deploy the
Sales & Operations Planning & Execution process across the Hasbro
business units to improve customer service, profitability, plant
and supply chain optimization, inventory turnover, and working
capital. This position will provide strategic direction to business
unit leaders on the process to assist their teams in balancing
supply and demand, aligning volume and mix with capacity and
capability, forecast reconciliation to integrate financial and
operating plans with strategic objectives to deliver improved
operating and financial results. It will also lead the process
design and blueprint of the processes, creating a fit for purpose
digital environment that delivers the right metrics, process,
systems, and organizational capability across all Hasbro businesses
globally, drive the maturity of the S&OP processes to the
highest possible standard. This role will function as the process
owner, the architect behind working cross-functionally, and
benchmarking among industry peers and thought leaders to tailor the
most appropriate S&OP process that can be embraced by the
organization to achieve management objectives.A day in the life of
a Sr Director, Sales & Operations Planning & Execution:
- Lead and support the new process design for S&OP and
S&OE leveraging current capabilities and operating within
current constraints.
- Lead the development, deployment, and delivery of SAP S&OP
& scenario planning, ensuring that it leverages the fullest
automation of the process to support advanced analytics and
decision making.
- Collaborate with a broad constituency of regional & global
stakeholders to execute model deployment & optimization.
- Lead the shaping and sustaining of effective, motivated teams
that deliver desired results by providing vision and direction;
building trust; leveraging individual abilities; and ensuring best
practices are utilized.
- Develop and sustain the playbook for S&OP and S&OE and
the maturity model for the processes.
- Leverage benchmarking, external expertise such as McKinsey, and
IBF to ensure the process design is informed from research and
investigation of industry initiatives/trends, benchmarking and
actual case studies of optimal practices and leveraging innovative
technologies to achieve best design standard.What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business, finance, supply chain,
science, engineering, or related discipline.
- Ideally +5 years' experience in end-to-end business planning
(S&OP) with Subject Matter Expertise in Supply Chain,
Financial, Marketing and/or Sales processes with demonstrated track
record of achievement and growth.
- Experience within Demand and Supply Planning for the Supply
Chain, Procurement, SC execution, and or business support team
roles.
- Strong data analytics, business modelling, financial skills.
Exceptional understanding of P&L levers.
- Business acumen with practical TOY and /or CPG experience &
planning expertise.
- Experience in large-scale process transformations with
system/tool deployment is preferred.
- Technical knowledge of S&OP management solutions
(technologies, tools, and data) preferred.
- Must have well developed business acumen and appreciation of
supply and demand strategies.
- Must have strategic thinking, collaboration and change
management capabilities, as well as a vision for developing and
leading the transformation plan for Continuous Improvement.
