Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Security Officer. Join our team of professionals to ensure high levels of safety and security at various client sites. You will be tasked with maintaining a secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. This role requires vigilance, a strong sense of ethics, and the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Monitor the security and safety of the premises and personnel via surveillance equipment and on-site patrols. Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures. Control traffic by directing drivers and maintaining entry logs of visitors. Respond to emergencies, provide necessary assistance and report incidents to the appropriate authorities. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and property and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Complete comprehensive reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Ability to follow complex instructions Surveillance skills Detail oriented Crisis intervention Strong communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Security Officer license First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred Completion of a security training program is highly advantageous
